Responsabilidades
- Management and development of the team of Agronomical Engineers (Field Representatives) and Field Specialists;
- Internal and external Stakeholder management (Commercial; Planning; Finance; Quality, Suppliers);
- Management of 20k ha/ year;
- Management of ~1700 seasonal/ employees (2 harvests per year);
- Management of ~10 suppliers (100 employees) for harvesting operations; irrigation; detasseling; transport of workers to operationalize the corn seed business;
- Manage strategy of area selection, best environments and planting windows, technical potential of fields and contract negotiation with farmers;
- Active participation in crop Plan definition: targets definition and allocation of materials according to the histories and specifics (Grower x environment x material), also risk location mitigation. Development and execution of strategies to meet the Crop Plan – 2 Harvests/year – 7M bags of seeds/year;
- Support seasonal and diary planning with technical knowledge expertise;
- Lead operation focusing in procedures, process improvement, ensuring best yield and quality results, and product delivery on time, as well as all stakeholder management an Operation Excellence;
- Actively interact with the most critical Row Crops stakeholder’s as, leadership team, Sites, Quality, Global Data Team, Commercial, Finance, PR, Operation, Maintenance, ensuring alignments need;
- External Stakeholder management (MAPA, tax records, field records and legal licenses (eg: RENASEM, etc), ISO 9001 certified auditors, labor union; Machine suppliers (detasseling, harvest, irrigation, male cut, seasonal workers management, people transportation and meal;
- Lead and develop annual budget, forecast and actual for field area considering all operation related (planting, detasseling, harvest, grower payment, pesticides e indirect costs);
- Attraction, development and retention of the team, leading the processes of people discussion and development plans,being able to make fast and assertive decisions, connecting with key stakeholders in the process. Lead remote teams and keep engagement in order to achieve strong results;
- Ensure compliance with the X Matrix indicators / Monitor Field Scorecard / KPI’s and implement innovation and optimization projects to improve yield and quality, reduce costs, guarantee HSE performance and indicators, process simplification and efficiency gain;
- Implementation of One PSS field area, using the appropriate tools to evaluate each regional opportunity, seeking customized solutions through lean practices and change management.
Requisitos
- Graduation: Agronomical Engineer/Agronomy desirable Master Degree or strong knowledge in seed production processes;
- Technical expertise in Corn Seeds Field Production is mandatory, as well as, stakeholder management, critical sense and lean & fast soft skills abilities;
- People lead experience and Influencing skills;
- Excellence in oral and written communication;
- Focused on Operational Excellence;
- Desirable computer literate (Word, Excel, SAP, Windows, Platforms for data management and visualization like OneNote, Sharepoint, Spotfire, Smartsheet, etc.);
- Advanced English.
