Responsibilities

  • Assist the customer in creating internal governance for greenhouse gas emissions and ESG data management.
  • Monitor the development of greenhouse gas (GHG) / carbon emissions inventories, water footprints, waste footprints, and other environmental inventories.
  • Support and contribute to the client’s corporate reporting, such as CDP and GRI, through gap assessments, inventory development, and preparation of qualitative responses.
  • Conduct rigorous quantitative analysis of empirical environmental data, such as carbon and waste.
  • Manage data available in our online invoice and emissions management platform, keeping dashboards and data streams updated, and providing training and support for clients in their use and development.
  • Support the analysis, development, and testing of Schneider Electric’s web-based tools.
  • Research, filter, store, and communicate emerging information and trends related to global sustainability, such as carbon legislation, climate risk and resilience, corporate social responsibility, supply chain, corporate goal setting, through direct client communications and other external communications for broad dissemination.
  • Stay updated on established and emerging sustainability topics through team training, participation in external webinars, independent research, and participation in customer forums, industry/commercial association conferences, and workshops.
  • Learn and demonstrate growing knowledge of industry concepts related to energy and sustainability trends, environmental and carbon legislation, and reporting in a wide range of markets.
  • Assist in training and developing team members.
  • Interact with Support Analysts, Operations and Strategy teams, and Data team to ensure service quality and delivery deadlines.
  • Communicate and interact recurrently and proactively with client decision-makers at all hierarchical levels and different geographies.
  • Act as a focal point in developing new commercial opportunities within the area (Upsell) and with other areas of Schneider (Pullthrough).
  • Hold regular meetings on the progress of activities and projects with key client stakeholders.
  • Develop new initiatives that contribute to team growth and customer partnership.
  • Manage client portfolio service contracts, ensuring that all contracted services are delivered as planned. Lead contract renewals and renegotiations.
  • Monthly reporting on portfolio performance to team leader.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in various engineering disciplines, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related technical fields.
  • Fluent in Portuguese (Brazil).
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Advanced in English.
  • Solid professional experience related to sustainability/development, management, and execution of solutions for clients, with a strong interest in pursuing a career in sustainability.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Carbon Inventory calculation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of sustainability KPIs and reporting.
  • Knowledge of data governance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with dashboards, data streams, and KPIs in online platforms.
  • Strong commitment to the company’s vision, values, and excellent customer service.
  • Project management experience (desirable).
  • Consulting or advisory experience (desirable).
  • Experience in energy and/or energy efficiency markets (desirable).
