Responsabilidades

• Provide guidelines for the R&D, Quality, CLS and Regulatory Affairs teams in Brazil, ensuring the execution of strategic planning for these areas.
• Responsible for preparing and managing the strategic plan for the areas under its responsibility, defining KPIs, aiming at continuous improvement of processes.
• Define the strategy for the development of new products aligned with the corporate and in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing area.
• Contribute to the global corporate strategy in the Registration and Renewal of Licenses, in accordance with the specific legislation in force.
• Manage the development of new products, following and monitoring all phases of the project, ensuring that all stages are carried out.
• Provide management guidelines for the Quality team through participation and development of projects and technical assistance for processes and products.
• Ensure the completion of all processes related to the Quality area, ensuring the release of products in accordance with planning.
• Develop product quality control programs, planning, establishing and/or investigating technical specifications and types of raw materials, in order to ensure the standard determined for production.
• Manage the preparation and finalization of dossiers to obtain Licenses and Renewals.
• Contribute to achieving the best product positioning at competitive levels in collaboration with Marketing for the product development and launch plan.
• Maintain a strong professional relationship with legal authorities in the animal health segment.
• Interact with the Sales and Marketing areas, providing support to resolve doubts and technical problems related to the product.
• Responsible for the development and training of employees in the areas under their responsibility, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and abilities to carry out their activities.
• Prepare and respond to the budget for the Industrial areas, controlling the department’s general expenses, promoting cost reduction through process optimization.
• Define and monitor objectives and goals for the entire team, providing real feedback and an action plan to correct inconsistencies.
• Act in accordance with the internal standards and procedures of the department and the company.

Qualificações

• Experience in filing invention disclosures and working with patent attorneys.
• Experience in establishing external research activities through collaborations at universities of public research institutes. Experience in the nutraceutical and/or vitamin & dietary supplement industries is preferred with a proven track record of accomplishment in product commercialization by developing and taking products based on new technologies successfully to the market.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including forecasting skills, project planning and the development of project timelines.
• Familiarity in meeting regulatory requirements in new product development and commercialization.
• People management.
• Experience in dealing with challenging problems, setting strategies, prioritizing and implementing appropriate research programs.
• Granted patents and/or participated in developing patent disclosures.
• Experience in Latin America region.
