Duties

• Ensure alignment and integration of quality, occupational health, environment, and safety (QHSE) policies, objectives, goals and processes with the strategic guidelines of the company
• Collaborate with the formulation, establishment and continuous improvement of company policies, operational procedures and QHSE programs and across the company
• Implement administrative, operational and/or engineering controls to eliminate or reduce as much as possible the effects of identified safety risks to people, property, and the environment
• Outline authority, responsibility, requirements, and procedures for the area
• Review technical and operational procedures to identify residual risks and propose actions and solutions to correct and prevent non-conformities or promote changes and improvements
• Make available and integrate all necessary information to contribute to senior management’s critical analysis of the SGQSMS
• Coordinate trend analysis meetings (internal and external scenario – organization context), performance, audits, and accident investigation
• Management of representatives for QHSE management systems
• Participate in the Company’s business developments and commercial activities when necessary
• Provide information for preparing proposals and quotations, when necessary
• Interact with all interested parties (workers, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers, etc.)
• Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policy and procedures
• Participate in personnel recruitment processes at different levels related to their area of activity
• Participate in supplier audit and evaluation processes
• Maintain an adequate workforce through internal and external training promoted by the organization
• Ensure that the QHSE department complies with ISO standards, HSE legislation and follows all InterMoor policies and procedures
• Assist with the Company’s reports (issuing reports)
• Develop and coordinate training planning for the QSMS department

Required

• Graduated with a postgraduate degree in safety engineering (Registered with CREA)
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
• Minimum of 4 years of experience and/or training
• Desirable experience in operation and logistics activities in Port/O&G area
• Desirable experience in mooring, anchoring and cargo handling activities
• Desire experience with Risk Analysis for O&G and Port activities
• Desire training or qualification in Risk analysis
• Experience with ISOs certifications and internal/external audits
• Experience in multidisciplinary environments and with different cultures and origins
• User of MS Project and Office Package
