Activities

• management of consulting projects, involving all aspects of project execution, from pre-sale of project, proposal development, project costing; project management, final analysis and presentation of final results to clients.
• project execution tasks to include desk research/secondary data collection; preparation of questionnaires; in-depth interviews; final analysis; and development of report and presentation to clients.
• analysis task comprises economic, financial, statistical and qualitative principles and methods generally used for market sizing and consulting projects.
• applying your specific knowledge base to client projects.
• working as part of a team of consultants on very large, highly complex projects; on smaller projects, working independently on project execution and delivery.
• forecasting – short and long term – based on regression models and other modeling methodologies.
• working collaboratively across geographies within agribusiness consulting as well as other consulting groups within the company.
• being flexible in working on projects in other areas of agribusiness.

Requirements

• Substantial agribusiness experience, traditionally acquired by working for industry, consulting, technology firms and/or government. A minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Post-graduate degree (likely to be in agriculture, energy, business, environmental sciences or economics).
• Highly organized and creative skills, with accomplished time and project management.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills; Fluent English and Portuguese is required. Spanish is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and to navigate and excel in a complex, matrix organization.
• Ability to work within and lead and manage teams.
• Solid leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
