Description

• Implement strategic research plans.
• Responsible for organizing and coordinating all yield test locations for corn and soybean, from implementing to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate a team responsible for the availability and functionality of the machinery and equipment needed to conduct trials.
• Responsible for coordinating regular inspections of nursery fields and yield test locations to monitor and identify pests, diseases, and other plant health or field issues. Make recommendations for adjustments or additional treatments based on monitoring results.
• Coordinate phenotyping and remote sensing data collection for all trials. Ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection procedures are followed by research personnel.
• Support daily activities at the station and temporary people hiring.
• Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to support research activities. Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in protocols and application development for field activities.
• Provide strong leadership by inspiring, motivating, and guiding team members toward achieving station and organizational objectives.
• Support and empower team members’ development.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Agronomy graduation.
• Master’s Degree in Agronomy.
• 5 years’ experience in corn and soybean research experimentation.
• Experience in people management.
• Advanced English.
• Leadership skills.
• Demonstrate initiative by taking ownership of tasks and projects and going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication.
• Available for traveling.
• Residence in Passo Fundo.
• Driver license B or higher.
