The position

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to::

• Be the functional owner of Safety, Security and Sustainability (SSU) for Peregrino Operations driving our business in strategic alignment with Corporate SSU to drive safe and sustainable operations;
• Drive compliance with SSU regulatory and Equinor requirements;
• Identify opportunities, monitor and drive improvement and synergies for SSU within Peregrino Operations, and ensure efficient functional processes, and resource utilization as well as efficient execution in accordance with the Lean principles;
• Manage rotations of Peregrino offshore units HSE Supervisors;
• Manage all contracts, taking the role of Company Representative, related to SSU for Peregrino Operations or delegate to other function owners, on behalf of Equinor Brazil, and delegate as needed the roles of Technical Representatives;
• Support/lead incident investigations, including ensuring quality of incident reports;
• Attend and execute assurance activities towards the Peregrino Operations, including authority-related ones;
• Be the focal point for Safe Work processes and be Author/Owner of some MS elements;
• Carry-out offshore visits to Peregrino assets in a frequent basis;
• Demonstrate visible safety leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience
• Formal qualification as Safety Engineer (NR-4)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Eligible to hold an active CREA
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Experience as a leader is preferable
• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to influence all levels of the organization with confidence, respect, and integrity
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and projects and manage time efficiently
