Responsabilidades

• Provide environmental technical support including all Eaton EHS requirements, such as training, visit and virtual assessments.
• Deploy the new global guideline in the entire region.
• Ensure the appropriate implementation of Corporate EHS programs through regular follow-ups on-site or virtually.
• Supporting the process of MESH global and self-assessments including ISO certifications.
• Support businesses to deploy environmental program in order to be in compliance with EHS regulations and MESH requirements.
• Assess the implementation of sustainability-related activities evaluating the progress of the projects and measuring the environmental results.
• Monitoring EHS management systems performance in terms of environmental results providing recommendation for improvements. (E.g., ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
• Gathering and sharing EHS Best Practices and lessons learned from plants creating a learning culture and continuous improvement.
• Support to Emergency Preparedness Program and BCM program.
• Periodically review the remediation programs reporting the results to corporate team.
• Interact directly with global and regional teams participating in global projects and report regional results, performance, and data.
• Coordinate internal EHS audits, programs, and campaigns environment related.
• Support the implementation and he maintenance the environmental programs, such as reduction of waste to landfill, water reuse, etc. Also, review environment risk assessments evaluating risk levels and proposed projects in order to support sites reduce the potential impacts.

Requirements

• This position requires graduate or post-graduate degree in Environment, Safety or related fields;
• Advanced English level proficiency;
• Spanish language knowledge is a plus;
• Extensive experience with emphasis in EHS programs including remediation processes;
• Robust knowledge in Brazilian environmental regulation;
• Expertise in Wastewater Treatment System (WWTS) and waste, water, and energy management system;
• Experience in manage the environmental performance indicators;
• Very strong background in ISO 14001and MESH requirements / Environmental Management System;
• Background in instructional methods and techniques;
• Adept at development and utilization of software solutions;
• Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes.
